I am sending out the biggest Happy Birthday wish to the boy I love the most in this world. For the past six years, he has stuck by my side through thick and thin and loves me no matter what I look like in the morning or how much money I make or whether or not I've figured out what I want to do with my life. In my eyes, he's perfect. He is always cheery, he never gets mad at me, and he makes me laugh everytime I look at him. So Happy Birthday to you baby Jasper, my adorably plump puppy, who turns 6 years old today. He's officially the cutest boy in the 1st grade.

I'm clearly not ready to have kids
Some people think having a puppy sounds like a splendid idea.
I'm one of those people. Or I used to be. I still do in theory, but my idealistic, romantic view of it has changed. I convinced my friend Yas to buy a puppy. She adopted a pit bull german shepard mix. It's going to be huge, but it's adorable and tiny right now. And a little ball of energy.
I got to puppy sit this weekend. Jesus Christ! That puppy needed an extraordinary amount of attention! Who knew! I guess a lot of people knew, but not me! I thought puppy (whose name is Georgia) would sit with me and cuddle and play fetch. We'd go on walks and meet cute boys who were impressed with how cute she is.
But, no. She poops and pees and barks and wants you to play with her ALL THE TIME! I love her and will puppy sit as many times as Yas needs, but I cannot see myself having a puppy. And certainly not a baby! If a puppy takes up that much energy. . .
